Never Settle on a Single Opinion

Before you make the commitment to undergo spine surgery, schedule a second opinion appointment today.

An Opinion You Can Trust

Researching big decisions is wise, but sometimes what you really need is an expert opinion.

Kalra Brain & Spine can handle your spine’s needs from top to bottom, saving you the time, expense and frustration of going to doctor after doctor. Dr. Kalra is a specialist in both the brain and the spine so his expertise gives him a hard-to-beat understanding of how nerves interact with the rest of the body.

Time for a Second Opinion

If you’re experiencing any of the following symptoms, it may be time to look for a second opinion on your treatments

Consistent Neck or

Back Pain

Pain that is more Severe When Stationary

Neck or Back Pain Radiating to Arms or Legs

Pins and Needles or Reduced Sensation in Extremities

Feeling a "Pinched Nerve" in the Back, Neck or Shoulder

Muscle Spasms

We offer many procedures and are confident we can find the one that fits your unique needs and offers you the relief you deserve.

The beauty of how we treat our patients is that we can offer a wide range of options from pain management and physical therapies to innovative spine surgeries that have helped many patients get their lives back.

Personalized Solutions

Uniquely Qualified

One Stop Solution

Staff with a deep understanding of the spine and how it connects to the rest of the body.

We always strive to provide the most benefit with the least treatment.

A comprehensive center equipped to treat spinal issues from minor to the most complex.

A Second Opinion Could Lead to a Better Solution

You may find a treatment you had never considered. For example, we offer artificial cervical discs treatments and minimally invasive treatments for those who qualify. We always suggest getting a second (or even a third!) opinion when a serious surgical solution is suggested to address a medical issue.

Even if you don’t find a better solution, you can approach surgery with the confidence that you have considered all of your options. Kalra Brain & Spine can help you find that peace of mind.

We offer a number of procedures and are confident we can find the one that fits your unique needs and offers you the relief you deserve.

Artificial Cervical Disc Replacement

A newer minimally invasive procedure we’re really excited to offer is the artificial cervical disc replacement (ACDR). This surgery is used in place of spinal fusion in some cases and uses a patented artificial disc to emulate a spinal disc.

Artificial Cervical Disk Replacement Advantages

Less invasive than traditional spinal fusion surgery

Offers a greater range of motion compared to spinal fusion

Minimal recovery time and disruption to the body

World-Class Training Meets Hometown Values

Dr. Kalra places his patient’s relief at the top of his priorities. He is committed to exploring every treatment option and finding the treatments that work best for his patients.

Rooted In Family and Community

Dr. Ricky Kalra may have traveled the world, receiving the very best training in the field of neurosurgery, but his heart was always right here in North Texas.

Committed to the Best Solution for You

We place huge importance on finding the exact treatment for each unique patient; this is one of the key things that sets us apart. At Kalra Brain & Spine, you’ll never be pressured into surgical options when less invasive options offer viable solutions.
